Adolescents and teenagers can struggle with mental health issues just the same as adults. In the U.S., more than 16 percent of kids under age 18 – or one out of six – experience a mental health disorder such as depression, anxiety, or substance use. Yet nearly half do not receive treatment.*
The good news is, that early intervention produces better long-term outcomes. Adolescent mental health programs can prevent more severe, lasting problems as kids get older. That’s why it’s so important to get help as early as possible.
We offer help for adolescents & teens with our online IOP programs (Intensive Outpatient Programs). These programs are 100% remote, meaning your child can receive treatment from home.
Intensive Outpatient Programs are structured, short term treatment programs aimed to support those struggling in their day-to-day lives due to mental health or substance use issues.
Adolescents enrolled in our online IOP programs attend three hours of group therapy per treatment day, allowing them to balance the demands of schooling and extracurricular activities.
Those who complete the program can be referred to a local outpatient provider for ongoing therapy and medication management.
It can be tough to know if you have a mental health disorder, especially when you’re a teenager or younger. These years can be challenging for anyone.
But it’s not uncommon for symptoms of potentially serious illnesses to first show during adolescence. These conditions can be painful, dangerous, and frightening.
We treat children and teens with:
The first step to receiving treatment is a virtual mental health assessment. We’re available 24/7 by phone to schedule your assessment appointment. Appointments take place via secure video conference.
During the assessment, we’ll ask about your child’s current and past symptoms, health history, and any other concerns. We’ll also provide orientation for parents and can answer any of your questions about mental health treatment.
Participation in virtual assessments requires an internet connection, computer, tablet or smartphone, and a valid email address.
